چکیده مقاله:

In the present project, the electrochemical and thermodynamic properties of E۷ liquid crystalcontaminated with magnesium manganate nanoparticles MgMn۲O۴ and the surfactant trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) have been studied. In the first part, MgMn۲O۴ nanoparticles in different concentrations of ۰.۵, ۱, ۱.۵ were dispersed into the crystal of E۷ nematic liquid. Using impedance spectroscopy, the effects of nanoparticle contamination on theelectrochemical properties of the nematic liquid crystal system were investigated. This decrease reached a maximum at a concentration of ۱ wt% and then increased. Also, μ ion mobility anddiffusion coefficient in the contaminated state increased with increasing weight percentage ofnanoparticles compared to pure liquid crystal. According to the data and results of contaminatingthe liquid crystal with nanoparticles, the optimal concentration (۱ wt%) was obtained. Then,according to the results of the previous step, the liquid crystal was contaminated with the surfactantand nanoparticles at the optimal concentration. Therefore, solutions with a concentration of ۱% ofsurfactant - liquid crystal, nanoparticles - liquid crystal, and a combination of surfactant andnanoparticles were prepared and the experiments were repeated similar to the previous step.
