چکیده مقاله:

Tetracycline (TC) is a commonly used antibiotic and it has high activity against approximately all Gram– positive and Gram–negative bacteria. However, owing to the general use of this antibiotic sometimes TC residue is found in food products for example milk, egg and shrimp. TC can adsorbstrongly onto environmental materials, where it still keeps its activity. Various studies indicate thatlow-level dose of antibiotics for long period could show bacteria resistance [۱, ۲]. Tetracycline antibiotics (TC) are a group of broad-spectrum antibiotics, which are widely used in beekeeping. Unfortunately, the side effects, characteristic of tetracycline group drugs, led to the need to control their residual amount in manufacturing raw materials and food [۳, ۴].In the current work, a new modified zeolitic carbon paste was carried out in order to determination of Tetracycline In this study, the modified electrode was prepaared by mixing of graphite powder, zeolite and appropriateamount of ferosn. After optimization of condition, the best pH for this determination obtained at ۷ and the dynamic range and detection limit of this determination using voltammetry technique were obtained in ۰.۰۸-۸۵۰ mM range ( R۲=۰.۹۹) and ۰.۰۶mM respectively. The chronoamperometry was used and the rate constant for this catalytic oxidation reaction was calculated as ۳.۳۶*۱۰۳ M-۱s-۱. This proposed electrode was used for determination of tetracycline in real solution and obtained results were acceptable in comparison with similar works.
