چکیده مقاله:
The current study aimed at determining ESP students’ language learning beliefs. To this end, ۶۸female students majoring in midwifery and nursing were selected. The participants of the studyparticipated in Quick Oxford placement (Version Two), as a standard test of English proficiencyand among them ۱۵ intermediate participants were selected. In order to investigate theparticipants’ beliefs about language learning, Horwitz’s (۵۹۸۷) Beliefs about Language LearningInventory (BALLI) was used. The participants were required to fill out the questionnaire. Theresults indicated that the Iranian undergraduate students were moderate in their beliefs aboutlanguage learning. The findings of the current study may be conducive to language learners andteachers as well as curriculum designers and material developers
