چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-۲ (SARS-CoV-۲) is an acute respiratoryinfection that has spread worldwide these days. It has various symptoms, but the sign seen in mostpatients is a cough. Since severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-۲ (SARS-CoV-۲) became anepidemic, many studies have been performed to evaluate the biological changes related to this disease.Material and methods: In this study, which was conducted in a Khanevadeh Hospital, in Tehran, Iran, inthe first step, individuals were given an information sheet, and then their referrals were collected. Thestudy included ۱۶۱ individuals, ۷۱ (۴۴%) were female and ۹۰ (۵۶%) of whom were male. These peoplewere divided into two age groups under five years (۴۳%) and older than five years (۵۷%). For people withrespiratory symptoms, nasal swab samples were taken, and a Real-time PCR test was performed for allthese samples. In the end, ۱۴ (۸.۷%) positive samples of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-۲(SARS-CoV-۲) were obtained from ۱۶۱ pieces. Results: Among ۱۴ positive cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-۲ (SARS-CoV-۲),nine were for people under five years old, and five patients were for people over five years old. Weexamined these ۱۴ people for symptoms, and cough was the only symptom seen in all ۱۴, and alsoshivering was one of the symptoms seen in just one patient. For patients whose Real-time PCR test forSARS-CoV-۲ result was positive, CBC was performed to determine the hematological characteristics ofthese people. Overall, ۱۲ cases of lymphocytosis and ۲ cases of lymphopenia out of ۱۴ patients withsevere acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-۲ (SARS-CoV-۲) have been observedConclusion: we concluded that in this statistical group, lymphocytosis is more common thanlymphopenia. And we have observed that most of the patients infected with SARS-CoV-۲ havelymphocytosis.
