Orthopedic surgeries are always one of the most important surgeries. bone drilling used in the surgical process so that the bone components can be connected, and during the bone drilling operation, the axial force applied to the bone should be at its minimum. Because its increase causes small cracks in the bone tissue, loosening of joints and finally the healing process takes time which may cause more damage. In this research used drills with a diameter of ۳.۵ mm and the point angle of the drill was considered as an input variable. The drilling process was done at rotational speed of ۱۰۰۰۰ rpm and a feed rate of ۳۰ mm/min, the axial force applied to the bone was investigated. And it was found that with the increase of the point angle, the axial force has increased and the use of high rotation speeds causes a significant reduction in the axial force.
