Iranian complementary medicine is full of instructions that have not been researched and investigatedby scientific methods, but despite the increasing progress of knowledge and technology, somefamilies still pay attention and follow them.Traditional families as extended families include grandparents, fathers, sons, daughters-in-law, andsons-in-law are often influenced by the oral prescriptions of the older members of the familyregarding the treatment of various diseases, including jaundice, with old methods that Breasts havebeen passed down from generation to generation, and special instructions are suggested as treatmentsolutions during various diseases.Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia disease in Iranian families as a common disease in babies is one of thecases where families use Purgative Manna for traditional treatment on the orders of family elders.Various researches on the effectiveness of treating jaundice with milk powder show different results,which highlights the need for more research in this field.In this research, by using library resources and research articles and with a review method, the resultsof studies on the treatment of jaundice with Purgative Manna have been investigated, and bycomparing the research conducted, no significant relationship between the improving effects ofPurgative Manna consumption in the treatment of jaundice was observed. Although sometimes arelationship has been observed, it cannot be said with certainty that milk is effective in reducing ortreating jaundice.
