Ackerman steering mechanism design for front axlesteering vehicles

One of the most important issues regarding cars is the type of optimal car steering mechanism, whichhas been extensively researched in this field due to its importance. In this research, the Ackermansteering mechanism for the front-axle steerable vehicle has been investigated. At first, the researchesof the predecessors have been described with emphasis on their strengths and weaknesses, and thena general summary has been made. Finally, an example of this mechanism was modeled and simulatedin the ARTAS SAM software.
