Nowadays, railway systems play an important role in the transportation of passengers and goods, As a result, there is a huge rush to build high-speed and electrified rail systems around the world. Due to the increasing number of electric railway systems, the management of these power networks has become an important topic among researchers. In this article, the topic of increasing the voltage quality of railway power systems using D-STATCOM and adapting the wind farm to these systems as one of the most important sources of renewable energy has been investigated. The simulation of this article has been done in ۲ case studies and ۶ different scenarios. In the first study case, two scenarios for D-STATCOM performance against network and load changes, and in the second study case, four scenarios for D-STATCOM performance in compensating reactive power in a network integrated with wind turbines and against faults in the wind turbine farm have been studied. The simulation results show well that D-STATCOM can play an important role in increasing the power quality, stability, and supply of reactive energy of the network even in the presence of errors and adapting a wind farm to the power network of the railway system.
