چکیده مقاله:

The epidemic of various diseases is one factor that has threatened human life throughout history. Recently, the coronavirus epidemic has become a critical challenge worldwide. One of the crucial ways to deal with the epidemic of various diseases is to quickly identify unhealthy people and screen them from other healthy people. Researchers are trying to design sensors and kits that, in addition to quick identification of the virus, have lower cost, high operational accuracy, ease of use, and a small scale for easy portability. Therefore, the microfluidic detection technique can be considered among the different detection methods. Microfluidic systems provide the basis for many diagnostic tests, including PCR RT-LAMP, combined nucleic acid RT-PCR, ELISA, fluorescence-based assays, rolling circle amplification, etc., promising faster, cheaper, and easier-to-use methods with higher sensitivity. This article first discusses the progress made in identifying the COVID-۱۹ virus. After that, we will discuss the microfluidic methods and devices, the types of identification techniques, and recent technological challenges.
