Investigation of citizens' satisfaction with Mehr housing projects (case study of Bostanabad city)

Housing is considered to be one of the most important basic needs of humans, and there are problems in providing it in all countries of the world, but the problem of housing is acute in third world countries. In Iran, according to Article ۳۱ of the Constitution, owning a home is considered the right of every Iranian. In different countries, there are different policies and programs for providing housing. In Iran, housing has always been one of the basic problems, and the housing sector has problems in terms of quality and quantity. Governments have also implemented programs to provide and solve the housing problem, one of which is Mehr housing. The purpose of this study is to investigate citizens' satisfaction with Mehr housing projects (case study of Bostan Abad city). The research method is descriptive-analytical and two survey and library methods were used to collect data. The statistical population of this research is the residents of Mehr housing projects in Bostan Abad and the statistical sample includes ۱۰۰ residents of Mehr housing projects who were selected by personal estimation. The findings of the research show that ۵۴ percent of the residents are very less satisfied with the Mehr housing project in Bostan Abad city, ۳۵ percent of the residents are moderately satisfied, and ۱۱ percent of the residents are satisfied with the Mehr housing project. The Mehr housing project in Bostan Abad city is located on the edge of the city and on top of the hill, and the residents are not satisfied with the transportation and other services.
