A New Imide-pyrazine Zinc(II) Binuclear Complex; In Situ Synthesis and Crystal Structure Determination

چکیده مقاله:

A new zinc(II) binuclear complex, [Zn۲(μ-DPzCA)(۲-MPzCI)Cl۳] (۱) (where DPzCA is N-(۲-pyrazylcarbonyl)-۲-pyrazinecarboxamidate anion and ۲-MPzCI is methyl pyrazine-۲-carboximidate), was synthesized from the reaction of ZnCl۲.۷H۲O and ۲-cyanopyrazine in methanolic solution at ۶۵ °C. This complex was thoroughly characterized by elemental analysis (CHN-O), IR, Uv-Vis, ۱H-NMR spectroscopy and its structure have been determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The spectroscopic investigations and X-ray structural analysis indicated that by methanolysis and in the presence of ZnCl۲.۷H۲O salt the ۲-cyanopyrazine ligand converts to methyl pyrazine-۲-carboximidate. Furthermore, the bis(۲-pyrazinecarbonyl)amidate anionic ligand have been prepared from ۲-cyanopyrazine in the presence of ZnCl۲.۷H۲O salt in methanolic solution.
