چکیده مقاله:

In contemporary times, elastomeric pipe insulations have gained significant popularity in heating and cooling systems. This widespread adoption can be attributed to the numerous advantages they offer compared to alternative insulation materials, primarily in terms of energy conservation and pipe protection. The objective of this article is to determine the optimal thickness of elastomeric pipe insulation for energy conservation, taking into account the cost constraints imposed by the manufacturer. The target community in this research is the products of Linkran Company. The analysis of energy conservation centers around calculating heat losses at the pipe surface, considering factors such as heat transfer coefficients and surface temperature. On the other hand, production costs are evaluated based on insulation density and the specifications of each pipe with a particular diameter. This assessment enables the achievement of maximum energy savings in real world applications. To accomplish this optimization, Python programming language and its libraries are utilized. These tools provide the necessary functionalities to optimize energy savings while incorporating cost as a limiting factor. The final outcome of this study recommended optimal thickness of insulation under different weather conditions in Iran. This result provides valuable insights into the potential energy savings achievable through effective insulation design and implementation.
