Factors affecting on elastic properties in tight gas sandstone

In tight gas sandstones, very important factors affect on the elastic parameters of these rocks, and not knowing these factors causes errors in the calculations of estimating the location of the well for drilling. These factors include porosity, clay content, grain contact surface, and stress.In this research we use the results of some articles, which examines these factors using samples that are completely saturated with brine. According to the results, any factor that reduces the space between the grains increases the speed of the waves.
