Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a highly aggressive livercancer with limited treatment options. In this study, we performedRNA-seq analysis on HCC samples and adjacent nontumorliver tissues to identify differentially expressed genes(DEGs) and dysregulated pathways. We analyzed RNA-seqdata from ۱۷ HCC samples and ۱۷ adjacent tissue samples usingthe R/Bioconductor package DESeq۲. We identified morethan ۷۰۰۰ differentially expressed genes (DEGs) with a |foldchange| ≥۲ and an adjusted p-value ≤۰.۰۵. We then used theDAVID tool to perform functional annotation and enrichmentanalysis of the DEGs. To visualize the interactions among theDEGs and their associated pathways, we constructed a proteinproteininteraction (PPI) network using the Cytoscape software.Our findings provide new insights into the molecular mechanismsunderlying HCC and identify potential therapeutic targetsfor this disease.
