Background: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the mostprevalent type of childhood cancer, and despite cure rates exceeding۹۰% in children, it continues to be a significant causeof childhood and adult morbidity and mortality. Frequent studieshave demonstrated the role of MicroRNAs (miRNA) inlymphoblastic leukemia. miRNA are small, single-stranded,non-coding RNA molecules including ۲۱ to ۲۳ nucleotides, thatmake regulate gene expression through purpose mRNAs. Bioinformaticsanalysis is a valuable instrumentation in predictingmiRNA target genes involved in Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.Amongst them, miR-۴۲۶۱ was confirmed to be deregulated inseveral tumors including ALL.Materials and Methods: In the study, we predicted by miRbase,miRwalk, miRnet, NCBI, and TargetScan. At first, we selectedthe MS۴A۱ gene from the NCBI, next we found miRNArelated to the gene from the TargetScan bioinformatics tool.Here, we elected miR-۴۲۶۱ and studied this miRNA with bioinformatictools.Results: In this study, we observed that miR-۴۲۶۱ is locatedin the ۳´UTR region of the MS۴A۱ gene, and it is also locatedin the position between nucleotides ۱۹-۲۵ of this gene. It establishes۷ hydrogen bonds, which is the predicted result ofpairing the target region to the sequence ۵'- AUUUCUUCUGUUUUCUGUUUCC-۳´ and the miRNA to the sequence۳'-ACCCAGGGACAAAGGA-۵´.Conclusion: According to the studies we obtained from bioinformaticstools, we can conclude that miR-۴۲۶۱ is related toALL cancer and this miR-۴۲۶۱ can be effective in the diagnosisand treatment of ALL cancer. We can also conclude that thisregion of the MS۴A۱ gene is conserved among different strains.
