چکیده مقاله:

Background: Gastric cancer ranks fourth among the most prevalentcancers and is the second leading cause of death globally. Both hereditary and environmental factors contribute to its onset.Over the years, numerous attempts have been made to combatthis ailment. Among the most noteworthy breakthroughsin the identification and management of stomach cancer is theuse of small interfering RNAs (siRNA) technology. The potentialof siRNA-based therapies for clinical use is restrictedby their quick degradation, inadequate cellular absorption, andrapid elimination by the kidneys. To address these challenges, this article explores diverse synthetic and natural nanoparticlescomposed of metals and polymers designed to deliver siRNA.Materials and Methods: Nanotechnology holds promise inproviding advanced therapeutic options via tailored deliverymechanisms. This review endeavors to present a comprehensiveoutlook on innovative methods and outlooks concerningnanoparticle (NP) delivery systems for gastric tumors. Thispaper examines papers published between ۲۰۱۰ and ۲۰۲۲ onSynthetic & Natural Nanoparticles, siRNA, and Gastric CancerCells. To conduct this review, we meticulously searched variousscientific databases such as science direct, IEEE, Elsevier,Medline, and Springer. Results: The results revealed that nanoparticles applications ingastric cancer treatment still necessitaes considerable consideration. Conclusion: Several research studies have focused on differentsynthetic and organic nanomaterials as a means of delivery, but in recent times, the latter has gained more prominence. Onthe other hand, various natural anticancer elements have beentransformed into nanoparticles, thereby eliminating the necessityfor synthetic chemotherapy agents. However, prior to implementingthe aforementioned Nano formulations in clinicalsettings, further extensive investigation is necessary to determinetheir effectiveness and safety for human consumption.
