چکیده مقاله:
Nanomaterials are the materials that have sizes on the order of a billionth of a meter. Sincethe mechanical, thermal, electrical, optical, electrochemical, catalytic properties of thenanomaterials are different from the bulk materials, nanomaterials can be used in a wide varietyof application fields. [۱].One of the most innovative methods consists of replacing pollutingchemical reagents with living organisms like bacteria, fungi , plants , yeasts and etc, duringinorganic and organic synthesis, to reduce the quantity of reagents and also save energy[۲].Theadvantages of using plant extracts during the green synthesis of nanostructures promptedresearchers to examine the reduction mechanisms of metal salts, trying to understand theformation mechanisms of nanoparticles in the presence of plant extracts[۳].Among variousnanoparticles, nickel oxide nanoparticles (NNPs) are important because of their physical, chemical, and biological properties. In the past two decades, significant research has been doneon the synthesis of NNPs. Their applications range from energy storage to catalysis to antifungaland antibacterial activity[۴].In this research, nickel oxide nanoparticles synthesized by greensynthesis method and using nigella sativa extract. Then the structural properties of nanoparticlescharacterized by XRD, SEM and FT-IR techniques
