چکیده مقاله:

Environmental pollution by antibiotics has severely affected human health anddevelopment[۱]. This paper presents synthesis of MOF-۸۰۸ and its adsorptive performance fortetracycline (TC) removal. MOF-۸۰۸ were synthesized by the solvothermal method. Wedesigned MOF-۸۰۸, BTC (۰.۰۵۶ g), and ZrOCl۲⋅۸H۲O (۰.۲۵۷g,) in a solventmixture ofDMF/formic acid (۱۲mL/۱۲ mL) were placed in a screw-cap jar, which was subsequently heatedat ۱۲۰ ◦C for ۴۸ h [۲] and The centrifugation activation methodwere employed.The featuredpowder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) peaksat ۲ values of ۴.۳, ۸.۳, and ۸.۶۹ can be easily identifiedin the obtained powders, indicating(۱۱۱), (۳۱۱), and (۲۲۲) crystalplanes,respectively[۳].TheFTIR spectrum of the synthesized MOF-۸۰۸ sample indicatespeaks at ۷۱۰ and ۷۵۸ cm-۱ wereassigned to the C–C bond of the benzene ring. Furthermore, the peaks at ۱۵۷۰ and ۱۴۰۰ cm-۱ areassigned to asymmetric and symmetric stretches of coordinating carboxylates (C=O),respectively, indicating Zr۴+ and BTC coordination[۴]. Specifc surface areaof the materials wasmeasured at − ۱۹۶ ˚C and the calculated BET surface area of the sample is around ۵۸۹ m۲g-۱. ASEM image of MOF-۸۰۸ showed that the MOF-۸۰۸ has a regular ochtahedral structure withparticle size of about ۵۰۰ nm. To obtain the adsorptive performance of MOF-۸۰۸ adsorption,kinetic adsorption and isotherm experiments were employed.To quantify the adsorptionequilibrium time, kinetic experiment was done and the high correlation coefficient )R۲  ۰.۹۹۸۸۷ ( indicates that besides physisorption, chemisorption also plays a crucial role interms of theinteractions that occur between TCand MOF-۸۰۸. To find the maximum adsorptioncapacity of TC in MOF-۸۰۸, adsorption experiments were performed for ۴ h (equilibrium time)and showed that the uptake of TC by MOF-۸۰۸ followed a Langmuir adsorptionmodel (۲ R  ۰.۸۹۳۶۸ ). The maximum adsorption capacity of TC in MOF-۸۰۸ is about ۲۵۴.۹۴ mg.g-۱,which indicates a great adsorption performance of MOF-۸۰۸.
