Factors Affecting Human Behavior with a Cultural Evolutionary Psychology Approach: An Overview

Human behavior is a complex phenomenon which is formed by biological, psychological, social and cultural factors. This article discusses the nature of behavior and its determinants from an academic perspective, focusing on evolutionary psychology and cultural evolutionary psychology, and argues that behavior emerges from the interaction of genetic, cognitive, environmental, and social influences. Various internal and external factors influence behavior, including intelligence, motivation, perception, and personality. Cultural and social forces mostly shape how these determinants affect individual and group behaviour.
