Investigate Factors Affecting the Outcomes of Assisted Reproductive Methods

This review study was conducted to investigate the factors affecting the results of assisted reproductive methods. Relevant published articles were obtained from Web of Science, Pubmed and Google Scholar search engines between ۲۰۱۴-۲۰۲۳. The results of the studies showed that Having a Mediterranean diet, consumption of omega-۳ fatty acids, L-arginine , vitamin B۱۲ & oral CoQ۱۰ supplements, as well as having physical activity and a healthy lifestyle along with Positive emotional state in women was effective in improving the outcomes of assisted reproductive methods On the other hand, having a high BMI, unhealthy diet, smoking, marijuana use, high level of SAA (alpha amylase enzyme secreted in saliva), people who experience severe anxiety, sadness and fear in Conditions such as the Corona pandemic have increased the risk of pregnancy failure in infertile couples undergoing treatment. In a study, the consumption of vitamins A, C and E before the initiation of infertility treatment was not related to the live birth rate, and also the role of vitamin D, showed the need for further studies. According to the obtained results, the need to make appropriate behavioral changes to improve the results of assisted reproductive methods seems necessary.
