Background: Pre-hospital emergency staffs as the frontline forces fighting against COVID -۱۹ affected by thispandemic. Today mental health of these individuals is important to the health care system. Death anxiety is one ofthe inevitable that not paying attention to it can cause unwanted effects such as changing the level of job satisfactionof the personnel. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of predictive death anxiety in the jobsatisfaction of pre-hospital emergency personnel during the COVID-۱۹ pandemic.Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among pre-hospital emergency staffs in QazvinProvince, Iran in ۲۰۲۱-۲۰۲۲. Among the bases chosen by the census method, ۱۹۸ samples were included by theavailable method. Data collection tools included the Demographic Checklist, Templer's Death Anxiety scale, and theMinnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire. The data were analyzed with descriptive, inferential statistics andSPSS۲۰software.Results: The mean age of the samples was (۳۳.۱۴ ± ۶.۷۷). ۱۶۷ persons were male and the others were female. Theaverage job satisfaction and death anxiety were ۵۵.۰۷ ± ۱۱.۵۰ and ۸.۱۸ ± ۱.۹۶. Pearson's correlation coefficientbetween the two variables was r = -۰.۱۲۶ and a null correlation coefficient hypothesis has been confirmed with pvalue= ۰.۰۷۷.Conclusions: The results showed a high level of death anxiety and average job satisfaction. Although these twovariables do not have a significant relationship with each other, considering that they do not have the appropriatelevel, it needs more investigation and consideration
