چکیده مقاله:

Rationality is the essence of human growth and perfection.Rationality is the factor of human cognition andexcellence and the source of his privilege and superiority. The intellect, as the most prominent and beautiful divinecreature, has always been in obedience to God. ImamBaqir has said in a hadith: God swore by His honor andglory that He did not create a creature more honorablethan reason. As societies grew, so did the differences betweenhuman beings. Following this difference, the prophetsthroughout history have always tried to provide the groundfor the growth and flourishing of human wisdom byshowing the right way. According to Imam Ali: Prophetscame to flourish human intellect. Wisdom and revelationare two divine guides who guided man with divineprovidence. Following the path of the prophets, scholarsand teachers also raised awareness and flourished wisdom.Socrates emphasized the importance of rationality.Throughout history, many people have tried to replaceignorance with knowledge, but the reformers did not allowit. The experience of contemporary man in the West incentralizing reason in Cartesian thought opened a newpath that, despite its advantages, also provided veils.Modern man thought that everything should be sought inPure rationality, this thought was wrong. The philosophical self-founded intellect ofphilosophers such as Descartes, Kant, and Hegel wasreduced to empiricism. Empiricism was reduced to utilitarianism and profit and loss.We are witnessing such a crisis situation of "truth","meaning" and "rationality" in today's world. But humanbeings, by their God-given nature and curious instinct, aretrapped in the truth and cannot tolerate the continuation ofsuch a crisis. Those who, by rejecting reason andrationality, led the way to "relativism" and "nothingness",eventually found nothing but madness and suicide, andtrapped contemporary man in this vortex as much aspossible. It seems that before the advent of the Savior, such a situation was nothing but a ground for truthseeking. In Islamic saviorist thought, the promised person isthe one who, according to Imam Sadegh, with his divineguidance, fulfills the desires and aspirations of humanityand instead of worthless desires and aspirations, valuablerational aspirations and desires are given to They grant. Infact, the idea of Mahdism saviorism expresses a society inwhich human intellect has reached full bloom.
