The Effect of Parents' Literacy on Students' Academic Progress

The purpose of this research was to investigate the impact of parents' literacy on the academic achievement of school students in Zahedan city. The statistical population of this study was all primary school students in Zahedan city, and ۸۳ students were selected and tested as a cluster. Type of research was practical and it is a tool for measuring parents' literacy questionnaire on children's future education. Chi-square statistical method was used for data analysis. The findings showed that there was a significant relationship between the impact of parents' literacy on academic progress and the totality of the present also results of the study showed that students whose parents had a high level of literacy had more academic progress and less academic behavioral problems.
