چکیده مقاله:

The aim of the present study was to compare the effectiveness of two eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapies (EMDR) and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder in liver transplant patients in Shiraz. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical community included all recovered liver transplant patients aged ۲۵ to ۶۰ years in ۱۴۰۲, which was a target of ۳۶ recovered transplant patients. A group with the diagnosis of the problem after the accident is selected and randomly replaced in three groups, experimental group ۱ (۱۲ people), experimental group ۲ (۱۲ people) and control group (۱۲ people). The service company treats them individually and weekly in ۶ sessions of forty-five minutes in the examination and processing sessions with eye movement and cognitive therapy on the mind. The control group went through their normal daily schedule. All subjects were assessed in two stages, pre-test and post-test, using the post-traumatic stress disorder questionnaire. Findings: Research data were analyzed by covariance analysis using SPSS version ۲۲. Results showed that symptoms of post-traumatic stress were significantly reduced in both experimental groups (P<۰.۰۵). As a result of both treatments, Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress. Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy has also had a greater impact on PTSD than mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. Results: The results suggest the increased use of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing interventions for symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.
