چکیده مقاله:

The aim of the present research was to investigate the relationship between emotional blackmail and marital conflict among married women in Isfahan city. The study population included all married women in Isfahan city in the year ۲۰۲۳. Using entry and exit criteria, ۱۰۰ participants were selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using the Emotional Blackmail Questionnaire by Karanani (۲۰۱۸) and the Marital Conflict Questionnaire by Barati and Sanaei (۲۰۰۰). According to the findings obtained through the use of correlation and simultaneous regression methods, there is a significant and positive relationship between the variable of emotional blackmail and the variable of marital conflict with a Pearson correlation coefficient of ۰.۶۳ and a significance level of ۰.۰۰۰۱. By incorporating the findings of this research into educational programs for married individuals as well as for counselors and psychologists, awareness among married couples can be increased, and the likelihood of cognitive, psychological, and marital problems and conflicts can be reduced.
