چکیده مقاله:

Cancer antigen ۱۵-۳ (CA۱۵-۳) is a glycoprotein that is expressed by normal breast and mesothelial cells in the proliferation of other healthy body tissues as well as many carcinomas, including adenocarcinomas and squamous carcinomas, and enters the bloodstream, which makes it useful as a tumor marker to follow the course of cancer.Several tumor-specific antigens are commonly produced by tumor cells or host cells in response to tumorigenesis. These unique antigens are called tumor markers and can be used in cancer screening and monitoring. The sensitivity and specificity of an individual tumor marker may be low, but a combination of several tumor markers can be very useful as a clinical tool in oncology. CA۱۵-۳ is one of the markers that is highly correlated with tumor stages.
