چکیده مقاله:
Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) is one of the forming and preparation techniques for thick layerswhich has been noted and mentioned in lab research projects and academic researches; but still it’snot been favored to most of the expensive techniques in industries for the same process despite thewide range of endeavors, activities and reports about EPD. While the simple and low-costapparatus and overcoming the problems of working with nano-particles are known as the strengthpoints of this technique. This research is an endeavor to find the answer of what are some of thefactors affecting this process. Environmental factors which can affect the process and are not easyto control in compare with lab sizes are probed. This research is based on testing with ceramicoxides specially ZnO. Organic liquids like Acetone, different alcohols and etc. are used to preparethe suspensions. We have worked with DC electricity and the layering process is done on metalelectrodes. Besides, the role of factors like changing the level of impurity of the suspension, themanner of elution, keeping the suspension for a period of time, the differences in different powdersbehaviors in layering and the substance which is used as electrodes are probed by comparing thelayering weight
