چکیده مقاله:

The heat and intensity of the sun in summer are among the climatic factors that have a significant impact on housing in Dezful (a city in Iran). Various solutions have been used to deal with these problems; one of the most effective methods is to create a hand-held space on the ground which is called Shavadoon. In this quantitative-qualitative research, a field and experimental-analytical method was employed to compare the Shavadoons in terms of functionality, along with examining their temperature performance on the hot days of the year and proving their function. The amounts of natural ventilation and cooling load of this amazing space were checked by DesignBuilder software. The effects of this space on the temperature performance of several sample buildings in this city were evaluated by field study, followed by analyzing the thermal behavior of this space using energy simulation. The results revealed that the increase in temperature had a slight effect on the performance of Shavadoon, Mainly, the temperature inside it is constant. Also, it was found that the depth of the Shavadoon does not have much effect on their performance. Further, the simulation results revealed that the geometrical parameters such as the shape of Shavadoon, diameter and the number of channels (Darize) have an effect on the thermal behavior of furnaces. Also, the shutters play a very important role in natural ventilation, and the shutters that have two shutters perform better. The heat and intensity of the sun in summer are among the climatic factors that have a significant impact on housing in Dezful (a city in Iran).
