Bangladesh known as one of the most controversial countries for the prostitution, sex trafficking, health problems and women’s rights. This includes various reasons for the poverty and lack of infrastructure, for instance the education program. Bangladesh’s education system continues to be of poor quality. The educational system and standards fall short when compared with standards in other countries. Sex work is legal for females over the age ۱۸, nevertheless there are thousands of underage girls are abducted or leaves their homes and become sex-worker day by day, moreover the government does not take a great step to prevent this and set austere punishment. Sex workers operate all over the country, particularly in major cities and in variety of setting such as brothels, hotels and street. The consequences of this issue, such as the prevalence of HIV virus and low level of living of women, led to the immediate attention of wide range of jurists and social activists. The objective of this article is to document the women situation in Bangladesh, the governmental organizations and non-governmental organizations supports to prevent the spread of prostitution, the fundamental rights, sexual and reproductive health. Also, this article is based on recent research focused on children of sex workers in the context of their everyday lives. It explores the profile of prostitutes and the reasons behind this phenomenon in Bangladesh.
