Background and Aim: The relationship between nutrition knowledge, level of physical activity, and bodycomposition has been extensively studied in various populations. This review article aims to explore therelationship between these factors specifically in active and sedentary women across different weight classes.A comprehensive literature search was conducted, and relevant studies published between ۲۰۱۴ and ۲۰۲۳ werereviewed. The findings suggest that nutrition knowledge and level of physical activity are important factorsinfluencing body composition in women. However, the impact of these factors can vary depending on anindividual's weight status. The article provides insights into the potential implications for interventions andrecommendations to improve body composition outcomes among women with different activity levels andweightclasses.Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted using electronic databases including PubMed,Scopus, and Google Scholar. The search was limited to studies published between ۲۰۱۲ and ۲۰۲۳. Thekeywords used in the search included "nutrition knowledge," "physical activity," "body composition," "weightstatus," "active women," and "sedentary women." The inclusion criteria comprised studies that focused onwomen, assessed nutrition knowledge, physical activity levels, and body composition, and reported outcomesrelated to weight status. Studies not written in English or with insufficient data were excluded.Findings: The findings from this review article highlight the importance of integrating nutrition education andphysical activity promotion interventions to improve body composition outcomes in women. Tailoredinterventions targeting specific weight classes and activity levels can be more effective in promoting healthylifestyle behaviors and achieving desirable body composition goals.Conclusion: The relationship between nutrition knowledge, level of physical activity, and body compositionis important for understanding and promoting healthy body composition outcomes in women. Higher nutritionknowledge and increased physical activity levels are associated with improved body composition outcomes.However, the impact can vary depending on an individual's weight status. Future research should focus ondeveloping targeted interventions that address the unique needs of women across different weight classes andactivity levels to optimize body composition outcomes.
