چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by cognitive decline andmemory loss. As the global population ages, the prevalence of AD continues to rise, necessitating innovativeapproaches for early diagnosis and effective treatment. This systematic review aims to explore the contributionof artificial intelligence (AI) in advancing AD research. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in electronic databases, including PubMed, Web of Scienceand Scopus, using relevant keywords such as AI techniques, Alzheimer's disease, cognitive impairment, andneuroimaging. Studies published until ۲۰۲۳ were selected based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The selected studies were critically appraised, and relevant data were extracted. Results: A number of studies investigated various AI applications in AD research. They encompassed machinelearning algorithms, deep learning models, and natural language processing techniques. AI has demonstratedpotential in diagnostic accuracy, risk prediction, disease progression modeling, and identifying novel therapeutictargets. Furthermore, neuroimaging studies utilizing AI have provided insights into structural and functionalbrain changes associated with AD.conclusion: This systematic review provides evidence supporting that artificial intelligence has emerged as apromising tool in Alzheimer's disease research, offering opportunities to enhance early detection, improvetreatment strategies, and advance our understanding of disease mechanisms. However, further validation andintegration of AI tools into clinical practice are needed to realize their full potential in AD management.
