Summaries of articles published incongresses and conferences were excluded from the study. Initially, ۱۱ articles in English or Persian were finallyevaluated. Results: By reviewing various studies, it was found that telogen effluvium is caused by stimulatory factors suchas fever-related diseases, severe infection, and nutritional deficiencies, all of which are common in COVID-۱۹patients. It has also been found that the covid-۱۹ virus can intensify hair loss by affecting the proteases of themembrane of some cells and disrupting the androgenic pathways. In another study, it was found that contractingcovid-۱۹ is followed by the use of certain drugs and stress, and these factors also play a role in the occurrenceof telogen effluvium. Conclusion: Generally, the review of various studies showed that telogen effluvium hair loss is one of thecomplications of covid-۱۹, which is affected by various factors. Therefore, this complication can be preventedto some extent by following a suitable nutritional diet during the period of covid-۱۹ infection and reducingstress.
