چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: The phenomenon of divorce is considered one of the most complex challenges in married life across societies. This complexity arises from the interplay of various individual, social, economic, cultural, and political factors contributing to the emergence of this phenomenon.Aims: This study aimed to compare the efficacy of cognitive-behavioral therapy based on mindfulness and reality therapy in addressing the differentiation of couples seeking divorce.Method: The current research employed a semi-experimental design with a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up plan, including a control group. The statistical population consisted of couples applying for divorce referred to the psychiatric center of Jolfa city by the judiciary between spring and winter of ۱۴۰۱. The research sample comprised ۶۰ referrals selected based on predefined criteria through purposive sampling. After selecting the sample, individuals were randomly assigned to three groups of ۲۰ people each. The two experimental groups underwent cognitive-behavioral therapy based on group mindfulness and group reality therapy, with ۸ sessions of ۹۰ minutes each (once a week). The control group did not receive any treatment. Data collection utilized the Self-Differentiation Questionnaire (DCI-SF). Data analysis involved the use of mixed repeated measures analysis of variance and the Bonferroni post hoc test with SPSS version ۲۴ software.Findings: The findings showed that there is a significant difference between the overall mean of self-differentiation in the two groups of mindfulness-based cognitive- behavioral therapy and reality therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive- behavioral therapy had a greater effect on self-differentiation (P<۰.۰۵).Conclusion: Based on the obtained results, both mindfulness-based cognitive- behavioral therapy and reality therapy are effective in improving self-differentiation in couples seeking divorce. It can be said that mindfulness-based cognitive- behavioral therapy is preferable to reality therapy.Introduction: The phenomenon of divorce is considered one of the most complex challenges in married life across societies.
