چکیده مقاله:
Bacterial cellulose possesses exceptional mechanical qualities, significant hydrophilicity, crystallinity, and a substantial level of polymerization. These qualities make the bacterial cellulose a suitable nanomaterial to be used as a scaffold or membrane in tissue engineering applications. This article evaluates the most recent developments and applications in the use of bacterial cellulose polymers as a scaffold in several tissue types such nerve, vascular and skin applications. More than ۵۰ research articles are reviewed, and the results showed that bacterial cellulose polymer is a promising natural polymer for the development of tissue scaffolds. The future of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine holds significant potential through the use of innovative composites that integrate this polymer with other materials, employing advanced prototypingtechniques.
