چکیده مقاله:

In modern urban life, the opportunities to connect with natural elements are increasingly diminishing. This leads to elevated stress levels, psychological problems, increased crime rates, and a higher incidence of diseases. Nature is omnipresent and has a profound impact on everything. Through interactions with living creatures, it infuses life and fosters growth. Since humans inherently crave nature, which brings peace of mind and sparks imagination, this connection can be deemed one of the most fundamental natural needs. Addressing this issue, the biophilic approach asserts that humans' inherent connection to nature can bestow upon buildings and cities the ability to break free from the fast-paced detachment from the natural world. It offers liberation from a life laden with worries and mental turmoil. This research, focused on designing residential spaces using a biophilic approach and pattern language, aims to provide design solutions. It also explores how biophilic elements and pattern language influence the design of residential spaces, which are among the most vital structures in urban life.
