The growing concern about environmental sustainability has led to a significant shift towardsrenewable energy systems as an alternative to traditional energy sources. This article exploressustainable design principles for renewable energy systems, specifically focusing on solarbasedenergy, ground source-based systems, and daylighting systems. By evaluating theefficiency and performance of these systems in reducing resource consumption, this articlehighlights the crucial factors that contribute to their optimal design. The impacts of geometricconditions, building orientation, installation location, materials, and various other designparameters are discussed. Moreover, the article delves into the factors affecting communityacceptance and the sustainability of these projects. By utilizing academic references, thisarticle provides a comprehensive overview of the key considerations and challenges indesigning sustainable renewable energy systems.
