چکیده مقاله:

Today, the environmental crisis has gained wider dimensions and environmental artists around the world are reacting to this crisis. Post-colonial studies is one of the most serious new fields of study in the field of culture in developing countries, and is focused on the relationship between culture and hegemony in these countries in the period after the end of colonial rule, mainly Western. Cultural hegemony has had a decisive impact on the formation of the identity, lifestyle and bio-culture of people all over the world. From this point of view, cultural hegemony is related to the environmental crisis of developing countries. And the art that deals with this crisis is environmental art. Countless works have been produced in this field, but in the following article we will examine only two: double negative by Michael Heizer; and the sculptures of Pulor River by Ahmad Nadalian. The question we seek to answer is whether these two works of art are related to the theories of the post-colonial approach and can be criticized with this approach. This article relies on the role of cognitive and cultural factors more than economic factors. The method of this research is a library, and by collecting existing theories and examining the similarities and differences of these two works of art, it reveals their capitalist approach.
