In this thesis, a trigeneration system is studied, which includes the solar collector as the mainsource of energy, the ORC cycle to produce power, the RO unit to produce freshwater and the PEMunit to produce hydrogen. Sixteen different working fluids were studied to investigate theirperformance in ۳ different configurations of the ORC cycle. Different parameters were studied to seetheir effect on the performance of the system. The simulation was performed in EES software.Validation was performed to be sure that the written code was correct. After analyzing the system, it isfound that, among the studied working fluids, from an energy efficiency point of view, R۶۰۰, R۶۰۰aand R۱۶۱ show the best performance. Among the studied working fluids, from a power productionpoint of view, R۶۰۰a, R۶۰۰ and Cis-۲-butene show better performance. The highest amount offreshwater production rate and hydrogen production rate belong to R۶۰۰a, R۶۰۰ and Cis-۲-butene,respectively. Finally, it can be concluded that R۶۰۰a is the best working fluid among the studiedfluids.
