چکیده مقاله:
In this study, the vibration and flow-induced divergence instability of a nanoflow-conveyingsingle-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) embedded in a viscoelastic medium are performed. The small-size effects on flow field and the nanoscale effects on the solid SWCNTwalls are considered, simultaneously. Amongst several viscoelastic models, Kelvin-Voigtmodel, a simple mechanical model composing of parallel spring and dashpot, is employed tosimulate viscoelastic behavior. The influences of Knudsen number(Kn), nonlocal parameter, boundery conditions and viscoelastic behaviors of the foundation on flow-induced divergenceinstability of suported SWCNT are studied. Results illustrate that by putting an emphasis onthe critical flow velocities, a new flow classification can be identified based on different Kn values.
