چکیده مقاله:
Among the issues that are being studied about the jetty piles and deck is using the sidling jetties in decks. These jetties because oh having high axis stiffness contribute the control of transforming the deck place. But according to the past researches, one of the main problems in sidling jetties is inappropriate seismic performance. The studies show that the high stiffness of jetties leads to the increment of the whole structure’s stiffness. Therefore, the seismic offer increases. In addition, since the sidling jetty reluctantly participates in loading gravity, it is not able to respond appropriately against lateral force ductility. Also, the sidling jetty because of lateral stiffness absorbs the major part of lateral force and finally leads to focus of tension around the jetty head and deck. In this study we assess using a ductile element as a structural fuse to improve the seismic performance and making a line of defense for the other elements. Because of problems in repairing the damages made in such decks, in this study we try to focus on damages in these replaceable elements. For better and precise studying the matter, the proposed fuse has been applies in this kind of decks. In modeling and predicting the seismic performance, the structure of deck we used the non linear static analysis (push over). The increasing number of main oil explorations and strategic matters has led to deck manufacturing and the other marine structures in Iran’s south coasts. In designing the different structure there are different rules such as resistance against input loads and also economy that can be very influential. In this study we try to evaluate the jetty deck structures in one of southern coast of Iran based on level performance. Be adding the improved plan, we propose a structural system.
