چکیده مقاله:
Polyester fabric is commonly used in textile industry and repellent finishes of polyester fabric are interesting in these decades to improve their performance in technical applications. In order to create durable repellency properties on the polyester fabric, fluorochemical finishes have become the most important material in water and oil repellency finishes on clothes, upholstery, industrial and household fabrics. In this work, production of oil and water repellent seat cover polyester fabric was the goal. In order to create low surface energy a layer of fluorochemical was coated on the surface. Nano-silica and nano-titanium dioxide were used to produce roughness and the performance of them was studied. The results were evaluated by using different test methods including the 3M water/oil repellency test, FTIR spectra and contact angle. The results indicated that the concentration of 60 g/L of fluoroalkylacrylate and 140 ◦C as curing temperature were optimum values for the experiment.
