crystal/morphology correlation in the PTFE membranes

polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes were prepared by thermo-mechanical stretching. Steps for membrane preparation include, paste formation, extruding and thermo mechanical stretching. Membranes were formed at 300,400 and 500% stretching and crystal characterizations were carried out by DSC and XRD methods. Crystallinty at these methods had differences and was related to the detection methods of XRD and DSC for PTFE membranes
