Nanocomposites of polyurethane, polyamide6 with various loading are investigated. Accordingly, TPU/PA6 blends and their ternary nanocomposites with hydrophilic silica nanoparticles were prepared via a melt mixing method. The rheological experiments such as frequency-sweep and strain sweep are performed to investigate the influence of nanoparticle loading on the viscoelastic properties of the nanocomposites and composite. However, the measured rheological properties dependstrongly on the sample preparation method, humidity regulation and time-temperature history duringthe measurement. The results show that nanocomposites with filler loading have both higher storage and loss moduli. Moreover, the results indicate that the loss modulus is more sensitive than storage modulus to filler loading. The scanning electron microscopy micrographs revealed that the particleaggregates increase. Effect of a polyurethane phase on PA6 crystallization in the blends along with the pattern of concentration mechanical properties dependencies are proposed to study in the future
