Information Security in Knowledge Management Based on ISO 27001 and CWA 14924

Based on the definition of the information security and knowledge management, there are many similarities between them. In this paper some of these similarities and problems have been identified by refer to ISO/IEC 27001:2005 as a standard in information security and CWA 14924 as a structure for knowledge management. As a result, with a comparative study in this area, a pseudo-standard for secure knowledge management has been proposed. With this pseudo-standard a Secure and Efficient knowledge management is achieved. We started with transferring established solutions for information security management to the field of knowledge management. And then after selecting a few ideas from the structure of knowledge management, we tried just translating them into Information Security measures. In this paper it will be shown, for solving problems from one filed that currently unsolved, it is possible to identify new ways by checking out and looking at established solutions from the other field.
