چکیده مقاله:
To investigate whether patients training about communication skills could improve patient satisfactions. The study was designed as an interventional field study conducted in private offices in Isfahan, Iran. It aimed at assessing the effect of patient communication skills training on their satisfactions in private offices.280 patients were involved, divided into control group and interventional group which received educational pamphlets. Results: A total of 280 patients answered the questionnaire, Dimensions of patient satisfaction and disease awareness showed a statistically significant difference in two groups while here was no statistically significant difference in other dimensions. The results of this study suggest that patient communication skills training can improve patient satisfaction and awareness of disease.
