Optimization and feasibility of renewable energysources in power supply independent using HOMERsoftware

Optimize systems cost and diversification of sources and size of each unit, can improvesystem performance.In this paper, the size of independent load is 21 kwh/d and the peak load is 3/2 kw and windturbine and solar array and diesel generators and batteries and converters to supply theindependent load is considered.In this paper, economic and feasibility study for the independent load system is done usingHomer software. The software enables users to different design options on performance andcost comparison. And it also provides changes in input.In this paper, the sensitivity analysis for the parameters of solar radiation and wind speed andthe fuel cost is considered and on this basis, it was found that hybrid wind turbine-solar arraysystem with batteries is the most appropriate choice for independent load suppliers.
