چکیده مقاله:

Maintenance Activities play a critical role in achieving organizational goals and objectives. They contribute in reducing equipment downtime, improving quality and increasing productivity. The effective use of different maintenance strategies is one of the most challenging tasks for the decision makers in industries. Selection of Appropriate maintenance policy is important as the maintenance management is complex and the output of maintenance is hard to measure and quantify. This study presents an application of the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) for a risk-based maintenance strategy selection. The proposed approach of this study has been used to select appropriate maintenance strategies for different risk levels in a petrochemical plant.
