چکیده مقاله:
The current study deals with the development andsimulation of a new geothermal driven multi-generationsystem exergetically and economically. The proposedsystem involves a cascade organic Rankine cycle (ORC) andproton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer to producepower, the vaporized liquefied natural gas (LNG), thecooling effect and hydrogen. From the simulation results, the energy and exergy efficiencies are calculated within82.6% and 38.8%, respectively. To assess the performanceof the proposed system two major design parameters, namely G_1 pressure (PG_1), geothermal mass flow rate (Geo m ) are considered. Sensitivity analysis implies that bothGeo m and PG_1 decrease the energy efficiency and totalproduct cost rate ( P C ) of the overall system by about11.85% and 1.6%, respectively while they have a positiveeffect on the exergy efficiency within 0.24%.
