چکیده مقاله:
The completion design of deep, sour, hot and high pressure gas producers has created some serious material selection challenges to the oil & gas industry through out the world and more specifically in the Middle East region where gas development is a prevalent activity. This paper reviews different options retained by middle East operatorB for well completions & selection of:mstcrials, emerging co:rrosion control methods (such as metallic cladding, ID lining with FRP material), and:finallyprovides basic guidelinC'8 in theselection ofCRA materials. The judgement tools to help defule the most cost effective solution are Life Cycle costing (LCC) per ISO 15663, and a risk assc:ssD1ent matrix of likelihood (of any hazaId) versus consequences. The consequences ofan event will be benchmarkedagainst theoperatorco:rpo:rate policy.
