چکیده مقاله:

In order to provide a comprehensive understanding of limitations of the perturbed ChainStatistical associating fluid theory Equations of State (PC-SAFT EoS), this study offers insight into itsapplication for the prediction of derivative properties over extensive ranges of pressure andtemperature.Therefore,this paper focused on the second derivative properties ofpure components related toAlkanes by PC-SAFT EoS. The purecomponent parameters used for these calculations were fitted tovapourliquidequilibrium data. The PC-SAFT EoS is found to be able toacceptably describe the derivativeproperties including speed of sound and heat capacitiesas well as Pressure-Vapour-Temperature propertiesofAlkanes series studied in this work.
